I have a friend in jail that is suffering from seemingly unrelated symptoms. He is being treated for food allergies, but from what I have read on the net, it can?t be food allergies. Here is what I know. Male, 47, asthmatic, was treated for Hep-C 4 years ago with interferon. Current problems: 1. Eats and then 4 ? 6 hours later, develop itching, burning welts on legs and arms, hands and feet swell. 2. Later, welts develop on his torso and his airway constricts. 3. Being treated with Clairton and Zantac with no affect. Please direct me to some information and answers as to the possible cause of these symptoms. Thank you.
