I have a cat who is spraying. I want to replace the carpeting with possibly bamboo or luxury vinyl flooring. My concern is the smell that is already there. Can it be eliminated?
If the odor is in your subfloor-- you will have to eliminate it before replacing the floor. Call a professional cleaner, they have "to the trade" only urine removers (neutralisers). Worst case, you will have to replace sections of the subfloor.
