Yes people of the opposite sex can be just friends. There can also be situations where there’s an attraction that’s not pursued.

Yes, it is perfectly normal.

Let me ask you this, do you trust your partner? If your answer is yes, then stop worrying about it.

The best thing you can do is be honest with her about your feelings. Let her know that you trust her completely, but also admit that her friendship with him makes you uneasy.

Tell her that you'd like to work on that, and see what she suggests. Perhaps she'll suggest you join them in some of their activities. Perhaps she'll tone down the amount of time she spends with him.

You'll never know unless you take the time to communicate openly and honestly.

It's quite possible. All my best friends in my life have been women, and I've dearly valued each of them. When I want an opinion on something, I still ask my ex wife for hers. Because we remain good friends.

of course billybob.  it is absolutely possible to have a best friend of the opposite sex.  if you are having doubts about this particular one, it could be because of your own insecurities.  it could also mean that you've sensed something amiss.  time will tell.
