I don't know if I am doing this right or not. How do I get something published in here about a horrendous experience at the Jazz Cafe on Saturday, 0ct 18, 09. I went there to help my friends celebrate her 50th birthday party. The service was absolutely horrendous. I was served cold food. My friend got a dish of 'greens' with the tags from the vegetables still on it, meaning they did not clean them before cooking them. It took one gentleman at our table 1 hour to get his food and some late comers sat there for 45 mins before being asked what they wanted to order. I attempted to talk to the manager about this and he didn't care. I was the only white person in the cafe that night. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not, but our waitress seemed attentive enough to the table in front of us. The entire evening was ruined for my friends. I was told by the owner that I was the only one at the table complaining. Well, this is not true. I asked for my ticket so I could pay and get out of there. An hour and a half later I was given my bill. Several others at the table left without paying #of course I did not know this at the time# but they refused to pay for such lousy food and such lousy service. I have never been there before and I certainly will never go again. I will tell everyone that I meet that it is a horrible place. Thanks, Susan
