I am attempting to install a ceiling fan, fairly certain I did not mix up any wires, when I flip the switch I trip the breaker. Tried to just hook the old light back up and have the same problem with tripped breaker. Thought there maybe exposed wire as the wire is older and I had to manhandle it a little because it is a small box, taped all the wire I could still tripped. box has 3 wires tied together that I did not touch, 3 more piggybacked together that went to old light and 1 solo that terminated at old light. Also when light switch is off 1 outlet doesn't work either this has never been a switched outlet, I am puzzled
