First of all the word "HELL" in your question was so not nnessesary ,he probably just forgot just like we all do at times .I do put an egg in my ground beef when mixing for meatballs ,it keeps the meat together when frying it in margerine ,also use some breadcrumbs,salt ,white pepper and nutmeg to taste ,a Dutch recipe from my native country.hope this will help you.Add some water to the browned meatballs and let simmer.
