Curtis, we love fresh salads. However, the greens begin to turn brown after a couple of days, even when kept in resealable plastic bags with the air squeezed out. What's the best way to keep greens fresh longer? Are the containers on your video the solution? Our schedules don't allow us to run to the market every two days. Thanks Bill

I haven't tried Curtis' plastic container idea so I dont know how long salad greens will stay fresh that way, but, I have found you must definitely throw away the original wrapping and put into Glad bag and seal with air squeezed out. This keeps salad greens fresher longer........ I shall try plastic container and see how that works next.

I've found that wrapping your greens in a paper towel makes them last 3 times as long.  If you have shredded lettuce, place a paper towel in the bag with them.
