I have brought my mini mac from the UK to the USA ...

I have brought my mini mac from the UK to the USA, I have connected everything up correctly. then the monitor goes blank with out of range H68 KHZ- V85 KHZ MAX 1280 x 1024

then when disconnected

it says no signal input, is this a power problem or changing the monitor frequency for which i do not know what it is. thankyou if you can let me know
