Brittany,

You can wash Tasman and any twin-faced sheepskin shoe or boot by hand using the UGG Cleaner and Conditioner or, if you don't have that, a mild shampoo works too (they are, after all, made out of wool and skin). DO NOT MACHINE WASH.

To wash, fill a sink with cool to lukewarm water (no hot water, as they may shrink), immerse completely and allow them to fill with water. Using the soft side of a 2-sided kitchen sponge, apply a capful of UGG Cleaner and Conditioner (or shampoo) directly to the sponge and wash inside and out.

Rinse in cold water and allow them to air dry naturally (do not apply heat to them like a hairdryer or clothesdryer or allow to dry in direct sunlight). You can speed up the drying process by placing them in the washing machine on the SPIN cycle only (it's safe). After the SPIN cycle is complete, remove immediately and stuff them with balled up paper towels (to preserve the shape) and they will dry in about 48 hours.

For older stains, you can try rubbing corn starch into them and that will take away most of the mark. Or, you can also try very lightly using a very fine grade of sandpaper (220 and up) in a circular motion. This works quite well too.

You can see this page on our site for more cleaning tips.
