How do I clean black matte tile and grout?

How do I clean black matte tile and grout? My bathroom shower and floors are all a matte black mexican type of tile with wide black strips of grout. NEVER looks clean. Soap scum and dirt always make both look white. Drives me crazy! Soap scum is from shampoo, body soap as well as cleaners. Please help!

After you clean it seal the tile and grout.  Mexican tiles are very pourous and that is why the scum is sticking to it.
