Eric, I read your article on installing flush kits. Ive installed several over a twenty year span and the kits you can buy all suck. The last one the flapper stayed up because the hinge hung up inn the rubber. I modified it but you still have to finesseit. Ive had ones in the past that the chain would kink up or just detach of they would'nt be water tight enough. I know these kits are one size fits all, but home depot Kmart walmart, and formerly hechingers all sold junk. And yes, I did everything by the book
