Are the bottle throwers being sued too?

What about the morons who threw the bottles at the police? Are they going to get paid off too? Shouldn't they be sued by the police? After all they're the ones who started the riot, not the cops. It was a peaceful rally until they started throwing bottles. They should be paying the $12.85 million, not the innocent taxpayers of Los Angeles.

Not with this council.  They're mostly democrats and pro-illegal aliens.  They won't fight for taxpayers money.  They LOVE to give it away.  Business as usual.  Only in California!  They don't learn the lesson of wasting money on non-sense.  That's why we're bankrupt.  Hopefully, the other states are watching!

Has nothing to do with being a Democrat or a Republican. During this "rally" LOTS of glass bottles were thrown, but when the media showed this on TV, they focused on the police. I don't recall seeing any of the officers with bottles, do you? The police didn't just start "roughing" the participants up, they were attacked first. The chief of police is a punk and should have stood up for his officers. Instead, he thought about what would make him look good. They should have arrested ALL the "participants" that caused this instead of just blaming the police for being there and doing there job. This was handled very poorly and now we have to pay some idiot who thought it would be a good idea to act like an animal and throw bottles at a rally.

Q:

International Workers' Day

Why is the International Workers' Day celebrated on May 1st, if the Haymarket Riot was on May 4th?
