I have not heard of bruising but I have heard of bad reactions such as rashes and/or breakouts to bismuth oxychloride. Although, this usually occurs if you have very sensitive skin.

I wouldn't be surprised about anything I hear about Bismuth OxyCloride! I have another idea, though. Are you certain it was bruises? The reason I ask is because there are lots of reasons that the wrong mineral makeup could make you LOOK like you have bruises!
