What is the bes carnivore, in terms of catching prey

What is the best carnivore with highest success rate of catching prey. I think servals and cats are at the top (50%). I was interested in carnivorous plants. I know hawks and falcons are only about 5-10%.

Hi,
Yes you are are right it is one of the cats.  It's very hard to say which one has the highest sucess rate and it's not fair to compare (cause they prey on different animals and some prey alone while others do it in a group [e.g: hunting dogs]).    As far as I know the sucess rate is very individual (differs very much from one individual to the other) depends on the season (availability of "food"), the conditions (temperture, dryness.......) and size of the prey.   The sucess rate is not as high as 50% but something like 30% for a very sucessful individual.    Group hunting has higher sucess rate than individual hunting.
Best regards,
