There might be some truth to your theory, but in my opinion, if this was the reason for what is going on now between Israel and Hamas you are forgetting several things: Hamas has been in power in Gaza since 2006, and Israel has been shelled for seven years from Gaza. What did Tehran do during this period? You are forgetting that unemployment is extremely high inside Iran these days, and this too plays a part in what is going on. When it comes to the Middle East, nothing is simple and straight forward as it might seem.
