i would love to know if this person has insurance and if so, what? so a right wing conservative (afraid of change "websters dictionary")actually has it in black and white that admits he cares for his pennies than he does for people who do not have insurance, and on top of that are sick, very sick, brain tumors, worse of all IN PAIN> how can you see a person in crying tears in pain not want then to have insurance. So, should we sit by a allow them to be miserable with pain and sickness controlling their lives, or at least try something to see them gain above 79 pounds due to pain, losing interest in all fields of life, no time for their families, and 2-3 yyears go by without realizing it until they are needing pysical therapy at home due to their ankles not holding them up becuase it has been so long since they have walked.Sound like your life?  Because it is my life, and I have what is supposedly the best of health insurance, well the best I can have due to fact that I have a pre existing illness, and was not asked the question, of had I had cancer, becuase I have. I work in  politics and congressional dental and have no problem at all. How would like to have that insurance, because it is what you would denal and MEDICAL if we go with Obama's plan. I do not qualify for the medical but will jump off of my insurance as soon as i see the health care will pass, so that I may too might go to the store again, drive, out to dinner, movies, little things you take for granted. i would give up 20.00 per week for people whom are sick , for the uninsured to have some help. So a conservative really is afraid of change, at least the radical lefties are at least wanted to see what a change might bring, instead of siting on their bottoms as usual doing NOTHING> What happened, and now why are all of these people jumping deck??? The republicans are acting worse than 5 year olds about whatever has been stuck up what they are sitting on. #1 problem during election, was "HEALTHCARE" now it has only demished, buy I hope the Republican that gets too rowdy and could as much as a democrat has the insurance to go to the E>R. Then you can pay the ENTIRE bill if they do not have insurance , which will probaby be the fact because whom at Wamart, K Mart , that are employess have about 120.00 per month if they choose for insurance over their families food. We have very wealth off people here going to the community kitchen one meal a day to put back for a house payment. what do you do for a living, how much is your insurance, do you have children. please allow me to know what will happen if you miss 3 months of work. Will you worry about food, losing your home, gas to get to the dr. , gas to go get tests run at the hospital becuase that will be your life. and believe me it is not fun.

Last night we went to a demo derby. After the one heat, 10 clunkers were ALL done in and ready for the crusher. None could run OR move, even if they did run.

All the parts had already been removed with the exception of the engine and the running gear.

Then I got to thinking.

I don't have a clue what it costs to put on a Demo Derby and award trophies as well, but it seems to me that if the government threw $2,000 or $3,000 at EVERY demo derby in the nation all summer long, it would be FAR cheaper than the "Cash For Clunkers" program ever was AND FAR more efficient as well!!

Additionally, the fluids that leak from them do more damage to the environment than any benefit that would result, as well as the damage of another several thousand tons of junk food and alcohol consumed during the events.
Few if any of them are roadworthy in the legal meaning of the term.......Well, I wouldn't necessarily go that far but.....................
