I have had my rose hair for about 4 years now it ...

i have had my rose hair for about 4 years now it has molted twice since ive had here she a great pet yet within the last 5 mounths she is going bald on her butt have not seen this happen before. what is happening ? im not sure but i have never seen her molt is she geting ready to molt? not sure thanks for your time just wondering does she have diseas or getting ready to molt? thanks mike reply at justine_n10@yahoo.com

Tarantulas “molt” or shed their skins as they grow.  If you look in the cage and think you see two spiders, relax.  Your spider just molted.  Most replace lost limbs and regrow new “hair” when they molt.  They get inactive right before and immediately after they molt.  Don’t chuck yours out if it suddenly stops moving -- even if you find it lying on its back.  Newly molted Tarantulas are soft and vulnerable for a few days.  Leave them alone.
