any or all of they above, as long as they are indoors on sentinal heart worm and flea pills, they are good to go. My dogs sleep in MY bed with me, i wouldn't have it any other way. I can see that a cot woudl be nice for them as well as a cushion, crate or t heir own designated place on the floor (rug or blanket) You are definately on the right track!
