Consider yourself lucky that you only shop for clothing and accessories, Fashion Chick. If you ever had to make serious purchases, you'd find yourself severely ill equipped.
For example, we placed two trucks at auction, one forklift that wouldn't lift the loads we will need to lift and was becoming a maintenance nightmare anyway, and a panel sander that will not take residential doors. We had to sell these things to make room for the replacements.
We bought two later model trucks, both Freightliner w/ Detroit Diesels and 9-speed Eatons, to replace the much older Peterbilt and Kenworth. We wound up donating a third Brockway truckto Deseret Industries -- although it was in perfect shape and only two years old. Simplifies maintenance, reduces parts inventory, reduces cost, and frees up valuable floor space for production. Not only that, but we did some good in the community. We now have four trucks we can count on, reduced service and parts area, and Deseret has a truck that will pull an actual trailer and will pass a pre-drive inspection.
You shop for clothing and spend about $120.00 on a dress you'll wear a few times, and donate it to Goodwill. Then repeat the process.
Honey, shopping for clothes does not make you a purchasing agent: we have to come back with results.
