Yo muney, yo pay: what do you see?

Is it more important to financially bail out 'Wall Street', or 'Mo-Town?' And why?

I am torn because both acted criminally and greedily causing the current crisis. But I would have to put the money with Wall Street because there is from where investment money comes. However, I would hope there would be enough money to help the U.S. auto industry which employs thousands of people so that they can continue to support their families. With government money should also come stricy government supervision to ensure the money is used correctly.

Hi Rosie, and YES--I know you are right.  It's just so difficult to watch the hardship caused by greed on Wall Street, and a failure of mo-town to make timely changes.  They counted on "a static demand for horse-buggy whips', when 25 years ago, the environment and oil sources were of noteable concern.  Do you remember that commercial who knows how long ago regarding our dependence on foreign oil?  It was an EKG rhythm strip with a steady beat and the voice over said---"In a nation that depends on oil, can we afford to run short?"  Then the rhythm strip straight lines.

That was years ago...RE Wall Street--i remember the movie by the same title with Michael Douglas--corporate greed is just not new.  thank you Rosie for your perspective.  mary bridget.
