I just typed in WW2 unit shoulder patches on Yahoo, Google, and a funny-sounding search engine called www.dogpile.com (which also lists other relevant links), and all 3 had anywhere from 335 to 135,ooo images (click that first to see pictures before clicking the Search button or all you'll get are the websites). I had hoped to include an image of a heraldry-type patch, but my computer simply will not show a .gif image. You can see it at www.usarmypatches.com/ (they are all listed alphabetically, and the one I'm referring to is called AUSTRIAN OCCUPATION-- with & without the added Vienna patch that goes above it. The size of the image on Yahoo is 187 by 235 pixels or 42k.)
