Silver Oak Winery actually has two estates where they make their wine. Napa Valley and Alexander Valley. This explains why some bottles say the one and some say the other.

Silver Oak Cellars and its authorized resellers may use the Silver Oak Cellars Logo and or Labels in advertising, promotional, and sales materials, and then only per the terms of their contract with Silver Oak Cellars. The reason for the two different locations is that there exist two estates – one in Napa Valley and the other in Alexander Valley –each  is dedicated to producing a single wine. These two Cabernet Sauvignons consistently reflect the very best of their appellations.

The estate vineyards are ideally situated to provide optimal growing conditions for their Cabernet Sauvignon. You may not know that they  also work closely with top independent growers throughout the Napa and Alexander Valleys to ensure a reliable source of excellent fruit.

Once the grapes have been harvested and fermented, their winemaker, Daniel Baron, meticulously assesses each lot, selecting only those that complement one another and enhance the final blend. By creating this blend prior to barreling, we achieve a balance of the wine’s natural elements before they are influenced by oak. Next, the blend is transferred to American oak barrels, whose character complements our expressive, fruit-forward wines. An extended aging process – first in barrel, then in bottle – yields the luxurious, well-rounded flavors that define Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon. I hope this answers your questions, if not visit
