Will it make a big difference upgrading from a Pentium 4, 3.0ghz, 800mhz, 1mb L2, with 2048 mem., to a 3.4ghz processor ?? Thanx.....

There are difference in the technology included in the processor which may affect it's processing speed. But as the speed of the computer does not solely depend on the processor but also to other parts so I think there will be a difference but you won't notice it that much
