I'm not familiar with the issue involved, though I do live in Texas, but when I see the words Eminent Domain, I'm automatically against it.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, Establish Justice,; insure domestic Tranquility, to provide for the common defense, to promote the general Welare, and to Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution of the United States of America.

The right of eminent domaine has been incorporated into every Constitution in this country. I was incorporated into the State of Texas as a means of allowing, for the common good, to bargain for and obtain necessary land for the use of government sponsored projects, ie, Roads, necessary expansion of the size of the roadways, and all sorts of government sponsored projects. As I understand the question, that the State of Texas has placed upon the ballot asking the people what their wishes are when it comes to the question of eminent domaine. My point being that one must vote their own consciences with so heavy a question. Once the vote goes up or down on the issue, it is, for all intents and purposes complete and binding on the citizenry of Texas. Not knowing the sentiments of the people of Texas, and not knowing the will of the people who resides under the Constitution, I can only say you must weigh for the good or the bad of the people. I wish you luck on you and your neighbors choices. Michael Joel Held
