I need help tying all this together for a sophisticated yet cozy adult bedroom - light pink ceiling; two-tone mauve/maroon carpet; chocolate walls; bright white trim - baseboard, window trim & two doors; king size bed w/no headboard (centered on a window); heavy, colonial, golden oak furniture - dresser, chest & rocking chair. Bedding is bright white comforter, pink sheets w/shams & scatter pillows in pinks and browns w/a leaf design. Three windows each w/a pale pink sheer underneath 4 crushed voile panels. Also on the windows will be inside mounted blinds with fabric & ribbon trim w/crystal pulls. I'd like to add a small overhead light, some sconces & a lamp for reading. I'd like a white flokati rug for texture. Hardware is brished nickel. What else do I need to complete the room? I do have a painting to hang. Thoughts and positive suggestions are very welcome.
