There are two major omissions from the article: 1) the role of Canada in the changes, and its current position, raising the question: were disgruntled Canadians, in or out of uniform, sources for the story? And 2) Had the USAF already "gutted" NORAD? Its last commander was only a one-star; & the Air Force that was so disgraced by the firing of its Chief of Staff and the Secretary of AF, and the dismissal or severe reprimand of 17 other USAF personnel, as a result of nuke overflights and fuses-to-Taiwan, may have bungled NORAD to the point that dissolution was necessary.
