Your direction, not your intentions, determines your destina

tions.

First you will have a frame for the seat, or bench, for the branches to grow around. The branches will have to be trained to curve when they are young, so you will have to decide where every branch should go on the frame, and then tie it in place with one of those adjustable ties you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's that have about 50 or so to a cannister or  whatever, these can be made tight or loose on the branches as they grow. Always put the branches going over the frame and then under. As they grow longer, take the first tie off and then retwine the branch around again.  You know this is going to take patience and time, but you can do it.Good luck, and I hope this helped.

Here are some good resources I found by Googling:

http://www.bluestem.ca/living-willow-structures.htm

You basically have to have a frame for the saplings to be trained to and bind them to the frame as they grow, wrapping over then under.  Once the wood matures, it's sturdy.  Looks like a great project for patient folks.
