Tub Caulking

For Eric Stromer:  Just saw the Caulking 101 video. What about when the tell-tale black stuff is already starting to show around the tub? Can you just caulk over it to seal it, or do we have to take down the whole tile wall?  Thanks.

I like Tilex Mold and Mildew spray for that. However, if the mold got underneath the caulking too it, you'll have to replace it.
