Hello my 1993 NPR keeps breaking the leaver on top of the fuel injection pump. The one that is connected to the cable that goes to the electric motor to shut off engine when you turn off the key. I believe this is breaking while driving not when I turn off the key because the part of the lever that breaks off is no where to be found when I lift the cab to shut off the motor by pushing whats left of the lever with a screw driver. Is the electric motor surging while driving? If so it has to be quite a surge to break this steel part. I have gone through "4" of these levers in a month, the last one broke with in a few hours of being installed. I have had three different mechanics install and check this problem and no one has an answer. Again I could not break this lever by hand so what is causing this? The cable is positioned correctly and will work after installed as you turn the key on and off. I hope someone has an answer to this as I have owned many NPR Turbo Diesels and never ran into this issue. Thanks for the help.
