THAT WHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.

Bull. Reality is, it will usually hurt like hell and leave you with a permanent limp.

Depends on conditions under which it was recorded, but , generally, yes it would be admissible evidence (ie: not an illegal wiretap)

Open the pod bay doors HAL

You didn't say what kind of official but if this is a law enforcement matter the magic word is warrant. Many states have laws against one person recording another unless he (or she) is made aware of it in advance.

Cool Equal justice for All

The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

In some cases yes but it should be announced this is being recorded for traning purposes or if it was taped example Govt, Official it is most generally not taped if it was taped with out your knowlage it can be thrown out of court on a tecinallicalty as you are suppose to be told that it is being tapped, but in most cases it is not adnissable in a court of law so check with an attorney in your area for the correct interpation of your laws in your area.
