What does TREASON mean?

What does TREASON mean? Would changing our form of government from Capitalist to Socialist be considered treason? If so, what does the law say you need, to PROVE treason? What is to be done to a President who has committed treason?

Treason, as I understand it, means giving aid, comfort and/or information to the enemy. I doubt there's any chance in hell this will ever be a socialist country. These same criticisms were leveled against Franklin Roosevelt when he was president, for the same reasons, and amazingly, we didn't manage to become a socialist country then, either. But no, it wouldn't be considered treason.

Since no one has committed treason there isn't much  reason to pursue this.

Socialism, of course, is not a crime since we have it in various forms, e.g.,  Social Security, Medicare, etc.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, Establish Justice,; insure domestic Tranquility, to provide for the common defense, to promote the general Welare, and to Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution of the United States of America.

Treason is defined as, "betrayal of one's country. Therefore, both "Linberger and Beck" are traitors to their Nation. The love to incite, but they are unwilling to step up to the plate and run for political office and make the changes they wish to change. But with the continued harping over extreme right wing BS they have attracted almost twenty millions of views of the furthest right people there are in this country. When Obama went to Europe, as is his job, to secure the 2012 games, and lost them, Rush Limberger was so happy he jumped from his chair and told his audience that Obama had no business to go to Europe. You remember that, don't you? When Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for what he has done to re-unite the world bilaterally, and not unilaterally, Linberber and Beck said he didn't deserve the prize. What has he accomplished in his "seven" months being President? Well, he has turned this country one hundred and eighty degrees from GW Bush and Company and, to me, there is no better Prize than that. Michael Joel Held

Ya know, I'm starting to long for the good old days when conservatives were just mean spirited and selfish. I even see myself as somewhat a conservative but these days things are getting downright silly. I guess this republican attitude must be pretty much the same one as the royalty had when the guillotine came down and brought a crashing end to their party!

Hint: It's only your country because you live here, not because you've the right  to control everyone else!
