2I just want to stamp a circle (ring) border in my bathroom. Can't seem to find a RING-shaped stamp. Just needs to be abut 5" in total diameter and about 1" wide. (That means the hole in the center is about 3" in diameter.)

It is easy to make your own stamp...
Use an appropriate size chunk of wood for the base. Get some of that craft foam (Comes in 8x10" sheets) Use something round in the correct size cut your stamp out of the craft foam and glue it to the block of wood using spray adhesive. Roll your colored paint lightly onto the stamp surface and apply to the wall. Practice on some poster board first.

I'm not sure I understand what it is that you are trying to do. Do you want to paint the ring? I don't even know if they still make them but we used to have a doughnut cutter. It is similar to a cookie cutter but has a removable smaller cutter in the center to cut out the doughnut hole. That would be about the right size. Or you could make your own stamp by using a protractor. You can find one of those in just about any store that carries school supplies or art supplies.
Hope this helps
This may sound really stupid but you can make your own stamp easily out of a potato. You would probably need to use a yam or one of those HUGE baking ones that you can usually find in the organic section of your supermarket. Cut in half, then, peel the skin partially (about an inch) off of the larger end. Leave the skin on the end you will hold in your hand. Then cut out the shape you want with either a knife or cookie cutter & you are ready to go. Practice on old paper bag or poster board first.
