Splicking (Spin and click)

The new phenomona of paid contributors to so called public forums, swaying public opinion with their agenda using their biased Splick, seem to be able to generate furor by 'chumming' the forum to attract ultra fruitcakes, is this fair? Should it be legal? What role and responsibility does the host (E.G Twitter or AOL) have in policing?

You asked where I came across the term 'Splicking', I didn't. It's a term I conjured myself to describe the suspicious huge volumes of comments frequently appearing in public forums. I suspect these are sometimes deliberately uploaded by paid or volunteer trolls, in efforts to sway public opinion. Heck, maybe that's what those jobs are about, you know the ones you see advertised, 'got a computer make a fortune and work from home'. Here's your script now go spin and click on every comments area you can access!
