Every month/year, Scientists and paleontologists keep changig the length of Spinosaurus. The size has been estimated from 35-68ft, please answer and have a logical explanation for this.
Imagine a beer drinking superhero riding on the back of a rocket powered dinosaur. I'm starting at the beginning of that.
Very few Spinosaurus fossils have been found and no complete skeletons - only skulls and some vertebrae and ribs. The first, most complete, specimen was destroyed by bombing in world war 2 and is now thought to have been not fully grown. Hence scientists have to estimate the overall size based on comparisons with similar dinosaurs. Obviously different estimates are possible, hence the confusion.
