Social security disability

My wife who was basically a stay ay home Mom and then worked after the kids were gone applied for SS disability and her benefit is $220.00 at age 58 now 2 years later minus $65.00 for medicare. Should we drop SS disability and reapply when she is 63 or 65?

Brian,

I'm confused and I don't have an answer. But I do have a question: Why is your wife on SS disability? I mean, you mention nothing about any catastrophic accident or illness besetting her, yet she is getting $220/month ... ??? Please explain. Thanks ...
