This is just my opinion, but during the Holocaust, to have turned a blind eye and acted "quietly" is the exact opposite of what the Catholic church should have done! I am proud to be Roman Catholic, however I say shame on the church for turning her back on the 6 million innocent human beings that were slaughtered just for being Jewish! And let's not forget the other 5 million or so non-Jews that perished as well. While we're at it, let's include all the millions of innocent civilians and soldiers from many different countries who fought against Hitler and his minions!
The Vatican had the wealth and the power and the voice and should have shouted from the highest mountain in defense of ALL of these poor souls!!!
