The first sentence is a subjective obsevation. The second is not logical.

Both sentences could be put in several boxes like "observation", "insult", "annoyance" etc. but not "inference".

1: Loud is not defined, and therefore this is an incorrect or correct observation. The fire alarm is loud is therefore an interference.
2: Two interferences since "always smells like garlic" is a subjective conclusion and so is "favorite food"
Always a observation, but could be an interference if it interferes with your thoughts!
