i have a S&W 38 special ctg nickel plated in great condition revolver,with a rubber handgrip.6 inch barrel .what is it worth.i need to sell it and i dont know what to ask.also i have a 357 nickel plated S&W with 4 inch barrel in great condition .

I think you have two options:

1) Either take it to a gun dealer and see what he thinks it's worth.

2) Try and sell it on ebay and see what you get.

Your S&W 38 Nickel 6 inch is a very common revolver.I have one and only paid $$189.00. The S&W 357 nickel plated 4inch barrel,I have one of them also, there common but I bought a new one and it cost $350.00 and that was from a friend,and it was still in the box.
