I don't know the year of your RV, but the older ones where poorly put together. peices were glued,or stapled together in a way where you had to do more work than it is worth to do.
Check for any seam that you can get to easily and see if you can get a thin piece of steel plastic, anything to see if you can find where and how it is attached.
The neweer RV's are built more with HOME type fasteners instead of the cheap type of junk they use to use.Take your time and a lot of patience and you can do anything that you want to do. But remember, they build RV's in the most efficent way to keep cost down. That means that a lot of parts ,you can only remove or replace by reverse engineering the section your working on.
But don't let it overwhelm you. I beleive if there is something I want to do or build I will do it. You would be amazed at how simple and easy things are once you get to messing with them.So DON'T let anybody tell you ,"You can't". Most likely they don't have a clue. So I would say go for it ,have fun, take your time and don't get upset and let it beat you.
If you never try, you'll never know if you could have done it! Hey let me tell you, peolpe are amazed when they find out you did it. people in this world have been programed to just take it to the shop and let the pros do it.
Go ahead and have at it.You'll learn and become more self reliant at the same time.
Have fun
