i paid the deposit of £510.00 on a property(via an agent to pass to the develpoer in goa). i then payed the rest of the amount by cheaque, i did not get the property but the the credit card company payed me back the £510.00 i payed as a deposit, can you tell me who is responsable for the other £19,168.00. i payed the rest with Halifax cheaques, and they said they are not liable to pay me back, the agent concerned Mr Karl goldthorpe, i have had him arrested and he is on bail till aug 2009.
