I purchased land 15 years ago in Westchester County and built a house.. The seller listed the wrong metes and bounds and not what as built survey said then and now.That was filed in Westchester County in 1995. The survey is correct.I had survey just done 2 weeks ago for the second time by another surveyor and just found out that original bargain and sale deed filed(Schedule A) with the county is wrong . In fact the original mortgage by Chemical Bank had the right schedule A filed with the county just 2 weeks later then the original deed filed by the seller.(wrong Schedule A) in 1995.How can I rectify this . I have no disputes. Seller is no longer available.
