This site was created to promote the Catholic position on issues as taught by the Church.  In today's America, there are people who claim to be Catholic but do not follow the teachings of the Church (e.g., pro-abortion, pro-contraception, etc.).

Here's the official mission from their web site:

The mission of RealCatholicTV.com is to promote the faith given to humanity by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, God and the Messiah. This faith is the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church lead by the heir of Saint Peter, Pope Benedict XVI.

RealCatholicTV.com aims to provide everyone with means to increase their personal holiness through catechesis and evangelization about the truth of the Christian faith. We aim to convert non-Catholics to the faith founded personally by Jesus Christ, and strengthen the faith of existing Catholics.

RealCatholicTV.com aims to achieve this through the use of high-quality videos produced to the highest standard and delivered by cutting edge internet technology.
