Hello,
Just in my experience in working in furniture stores, there isn't a difference in "as is final sale" and "final sale". They are usually synonymous terms. I am not familiar with Taylor King furniture; however I have 15 years of selling high end furniture. If you are referring to the back cushions, The inner cushion bag usually has a middle seam that separates the down feathers in order to avoid any shifting. This seam also denotes a well made piece.
Even though this was a final sale piece, a reasonable expectation is not for your sofa to encounter problems within 7 days. Contact the store manager to inquire about a possible refund. If he or she won't break, ask for a compromise of a price adjustment under the guise of "customer satisfaction"
If this place is going out of business, that's an entirely different perhaps hopeless issue. Hope this helps.
