I'm looking for the predecessor to the A-10 Warthog. I can only remember seeing the 'model' propellor version in a hobby store in the late 70's & can still remember the artist drawing on the box(maybe Revell), showing it performing close ground support in Vietnam. It had shrouds protecting the prop blades & multible guns & anti-tank weaponry. Don't know if this plane was actually ever in production & was just dreamed up by the 'model' co., but I'll never forget seeing it on the shelf. Anyone ?
