I'm so happy to be alive and not hurting from angina from my glogged artery. I have a new stent now, placed right inside the old one. I know I'm going to be living a lot longer now. But the plavix is making me hurt so bad that I cry sometimes. I know its better then the alternative but I'm hurting really bad. I have to hold myself up with the cupboards and counter top to get my dishes done.It's been 3 weeks and I'm back on the tread mill everyday at my full spead. I'm ready to go back to the gym but I'm not so sure its such a good idea. My left arm has hurt since I left the hospital 3 weeks ago. I have about 50% use out of it. The pain is in the muscles inside the elbow. Maybe I should run by and se my orthapedic first. I'm calling my cardioligist in the morning. The Dr. That put the stent in and ordered the plavex says don't go off of it for a year without his permission. I would be happy to try just half of my plavix dose. I know it would make a difference
