How can We the People, or more specifically I the Person, get an issue put before the California voters? Do we as citizens have the means to say no to laws that are being passed without being put to the vote of the effected populace? I truly don't recall anyone ever asking J. Q. Public if red light cameras and speed limit cameras were something we wanted. I know I sure don't. Big Brother needs to get off our backs and out of our wallets.
..... and please don't say write my congressman. He and the local politicos are the ones who stabbed us in the back with this shit in the  first place. Uncle Toms is what they are. They constantly create unwanted legislation to justify their existence which basically sells the average man up river. Am I the only one who sees what is happening to WE THE PEOPLE?!  Government "Of the people, by the people and for the people" should be given back TO the people. If not then we do grave injustice and irreverence to the founding of this once LAND OF THE FREE.

What I would recommend is that you go into politics.  I know it sounds like sort of a cop-out answer... but if you want to make a change in the world, you need to be that change.  Find some other people who agree with you, people with money, or even influence, people who are known in the community, people who have all different types of professions... and create this influence together.  Start on your own to get more involved in the politics, even if it's just in the local area of where you live, and work your way up from there.  Good luck.
