Palin's lack of motivation to encourage pregnant teens to continue education...

Why didn't Sarah &Todd Palin and Levi's parents offer to give financial support and childcare to convince these two teens to stay in school, graduate high school and still plan go to college despite this supposive pregnancy?

Why is Bristol being hidden while the rest of her family and Levi's family are visible in the media?

Bristol and Levi will both be 18 year old drop outs by the quoted Dec 18 due date and being they are no longer full-time students, they and the hypothetical baby will not be covered under their parents insurance policies. So, those same big government programs that she and McCain don't support, will end up providing Bristol, Levi, and their offspring's healthcare and/or welfare - yet if they continued their education they could have a brighter future, have continued health insurance benefits with their parents policy etc.

How does Sarah Palin's lack of parental encouragement, support, and involvement in not helping/possibly stopping high school dropout sit with the American people?

Don't most of us want a better life for our kids?

Isn't one of the biggest goals of public education to prepare kids for the future so they don't grow up neccessarily needing government aid programs due to lack of education/job skills?

I agree that the parents should have encouraged their kids to stay in school despite the pregnancy. Sure they might have stopped for a while -- to take care of the new baby and all -- but they should have given their kids the option of going back to school if they wanted. Education is key to improving one's life.
