I would say most of them do,if not all.I read up on some articles and it seems to promote muscles in humans and animals. Cats need it in their food in order to have good eyesight. They would eventually lose their sight because of deterioration of the muscles around the retina. It is put in pet food in the form of amino acids and lots of other goodies. Don't think it hurts humans or animals since one article I read stated that 50% of all taurine made in 1993 went in dog food. They were talking about 50 to 60 thousand tons back then, and have found it benefits both animals and humans since then, so there is lots more produced now.Clear as mud isn't it? It was fun trying to figure the articles out too.Hope it helps.
