Jeremiah 23:19
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked

What has Obama done that you people worship him so?

Before I log off Yedda........one question I would really like to ask...........Give me 5 things he has done for America that has benefited America.

Amazing........no answers?  Reminds me of Noah needing 10 righteous people that he could not produce for the Lord.  Apparently, no one knows 5 reasons?  Tippy surely you do, since you adamently believe in him?  Do I need to lower the amount?

He hasn't done anything!  And I would never worship him!  I worship my God and love Jesus.  I can think of quite a few things he has done that I DO NOT like - apologizing for America while overseas!  We have nothing to apologize for!  We have helped ALL countries and are the most generous nation in the world!  I do not like his "Socialistic" ideas - don't like the hand outs and stimulous, don't like the pork that he promised to get rid of - and do not like the lobbyists he wasn't supposed to lend ear to.  So, I can't think of ANYTHING he has done to brag or compliment him on!

So far so good for just a little over 150 days.  Only just so much can be done in so little time, but so far, on the right track.  Just the breath of fresh air it was to replace Bush and Co., would be enough to last a couple of years if nothing got done.

-----------------------------------------

the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009, which eased the requirements for filing employment discrimination lawsuits.

he signed the reauthorization of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to cover an additional 4 million children currently uninsured.

In March 2009, Obama repealed a Bush-era policy that prevented federal tax dollars from being used to fund research on new lines of embryonic stem cells, enabling us to join in the research and investigation that may contribute to cures for a variety of killing and debilitating diseases and afflictions....

On May 26, 2009, Obama nominated Sonia Sotomayor to replace retiring Associate Justice David Souter. If confirmed, Sotomayor would become the first Hispanic to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. She would join Ruth Bader Ginsburg as one of two women on the Court and the third woman ever to be a Justice.  This is a win for minorities, a win for women, thus a win for all the American people who accept diversity and fairness and equality.

In February and March Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton made separate overseas trips to announce a "new era" in U.S. foreign relations with Russia and Europe, using the terms "break" and "reset" to signal major changes from the policies of the preceding administration.  Our world image has prospered since Obama has taken the reins from Bush, immediately contributing to the overall safety of not only America, but a safer world.

In April, Obama gave a speech in Ankara, Turkey which was well received by many Arab governments. On June 4, 2009, Obama delivered a speech at Cairo University in Egypt calling for a "new beginning" in relations between the Islamic world and the United States and promoting Middle East peace.  There is a clear separation between "radical Islamists" and the millions of other Muslims.  Under Bush, that line was blurred and we paid a heavy price in setbacks.

...his election meant an instand boost to America's credibility in the world, in effect, making everyone a tad safer..

...changes coming to Cuba, enabling ex-patriots to visit their loved ones, and beginning to make inroads into selected American businesses being able to do business with Cuba--which is good for them, and good for us.  Keeping Cuba at bay rings hollow when we are so involved with another Communist nation--China.

On February 27, Obama declared that combat operations would end in Iraq within 18 months. His remarks were made to a group of Marines preparing for deployment to Afghanistan. Obama said, "Let me say this as plainly as I can: By August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end."  (the sooner the better)

and opposed Republican proposals to establish private accounts for Social Security.

On taxation, his plan would eliminate taxes for senior citizens with incomes of less than $50,000 a year, raise income taxes for those making over $250,000, raise the capital gains and dividends taxes, close corporate tax loopholes, lift the income cap on Social Security taxes, restrict offshore tax havens, and simplify filing of income tax returns by pre-filling wage and bank information already collected by the IRS.

For environment, Obama proposed a cap and trade auction system to restrict carbon emissions and a ten year program of investments in new energy sources to reduce U.S. dependence on imported oil.  Way, way overdue.

Obama favors ending development of new nuclear weapons, reducing the current U.S. nuclear stockpile, enacting a global ban on production of fissile material, and seeking negotiations with Russia in order to make it less necessary to have intercontinental ballistic missiles on high-alert status.  In other words, restore some sanity into the mix.

Obama called for an outward looking post-Iraq War foreign policy and, in his view, the renewal of American military, diplomatic, and moral leadership in the world. Saying that "we can neither retreat from the world nor try to bully it into submission", he called on Americans to "lead the world, by deed and by example

-----------------------------
Eventually, 'ask don't tell' will be history

Eventually, Gitmo will be closed...

And time will tell if the stimulus was the right direction or not.  If so, then, Americans will have dodged many bullets, if not economic bombs.  Doing nothing wasn't an option.

And a big one--revamping the health care options of insurance....which will benefit everyone, perhaps the most important benefit being a lift for a hurting economy....

He hasn't done anything!

He's done more than any other so soon, but it's slowing due to politics as usual.....

And I would never worship him!

.....and no one worships Obama.  That was just the Wind being controversial....and a bit naughty...

I worship my God and love Jesus.

...amen and hallelujah

I can think of quite a few things he has done that I DO NOT like - apologizing for America while overseas!

....stating the truth, which was welcome and gave us a much better status than the previous 8 years...

We have nothing to apologize for!

....perhaps "explain" a better term?

We have helped ALL countries and are the most generous nation in the world!

....and have expected or asked for nothing in return?  Really?  The world is not a political stage?

I do not like his "Socialistic" ideas

....what would those be that ALL other industrialized countries don't have?  Most people like Social Security...and Medicare....and we certainly don't have a private Army, Navy and Air Force....

- don't like the hand outs

....there was never any alternate ideas coming from the other side, was there?  In a crisis, no ideas....

and stimulous,

....unfortunatey, like Rooseveldt, he may have been influenced politically, since what was done may only contain the fire for a while, and not put it out.  Many economists called for a package twice as big....

don't like the pork that he promised to get rid of

...Willing to bet there will be far less of that sort of thing.  What got in was from the previous administration era....but it less than normal....

- and do not like the lobbyists he wasn't supposed to lend ear to.

....don't like that either....

So, I can't think of ANYTHING he has done to brag or compliment him on

...I can, and listed them, already....Laughing

and, he has also caused Americans to pay higher taxes on items, wants to add VAT, skyrocket energy prices for many who can not pay their energy bills, if Cap and Trade passes which it will not.

He has added the greatest burden in history to our children.  He has apologized for Americans and called us a non-christian nation, wants us to be a nation such as France.

In time, you, as many are now doing, will open your eyes HOPEFULLY before it's too late.

Sotomeyer will be a HUGE mistake as she is definitely a racist.

And not to mention the inflation we will be seeing soon.  When prices skyrocket at the grocery store, remember BO.

Jeremiah 23:19
Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked

Htswasa,

Actually if you saw the crowds of people that flock around him, the mass of people you would see the adoration in their eyes for him.  And actually was not being controversial or naughty people do worship him..........I was stating a fact as I observe it.  Di

Htswasa,

Might find this interesting.........t-shirts claiming he is the Messiah.............so I was not presuming anything, but was stating and wanting those that think he is perfect to step up and give me five reasons why they worship him.

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

htswasl,

Do you see what I mean? Hopefully you have read my other post to you, to know what I am talking about. I will trust God anyway.

Be Blessed
