Obama Dismantling Armed Forces?




 
During the Campaign, Obama promised he would;  "slow our development of future combat systems.”
 
“I’m the only major candidate to oppose this war from the beginning and as president I will end it.” 
 
 
No one likes war: especially those who have to do the fighting and dying. 
 
Yet, our military leaders make clear that the consequences of a rapid withdrawal from Iraq as Obama seeks would be disastrous not only for American interests in the region but for Iraq itself. It would provide a propaganda victory for al Qaeda and Iran because they will be able to claim they defeated America. Further, it could worsen the Iraqi civil war, create an unstable Mideast and further spike oil prices.
 
Obama’s national security views reflect that of a knee-jerk liberal academic who thinks that the US is the primary threat to world peace.  His views are dangerously naive and his statements suggest a shallow understanding of national security issues and in some cases his facts are wrong.

We as Americans have developed a "Savior Complex" towards our neighbors. We the People (seperate from Corporations) want the World to have Peaceful existance as we generally enjoy. We are known for pulling for the "Under Dog" & can get quite "Emotional" over what others take as "Everyday Life". Being Attacked on 911 threw us in the middle of an ANCIENT Struggle & "Way of Life" of which we had NO CLUE!!! This IS a Situation as Extreme as the Land itself! These people will Kill U as soon as look at U for their "Religion"! Their infighting has been for centuries & they are virtually still Living back in that time! There is an OOOOOLD song that asks the Question: "How ya gonna keep 'em down on the Farm after they've seen "Parri" (Paris)" from the WWI era. And now that they have been "Innundated" by the "West" they have & are "Activly Spawning" Terrorist Cells designed to gain Power & Overthrow the West & Any Opposition to them!!! We have never come up against such a Concerted Effort & it Scares a lot of people who are Ignorant on just how to handle it. In simplest terms, the object of War is to (By Force) cause the Opposition to Submit & Cease Hostilities. This can be accomplished "In Country" easier than around the World wherever the Terrorist strike. If everyone pulls out of Iraq, it would be less than 6 months before Civil War was on Full Scale!!! It would be "Ripe" for Invasion by Iran & open up Israel for Invasion. I would Love to see U.S. bring back ALL our Troops from any Un-Friendly Country, but it would also mean Withdrawl of ALL our Corporate Interests because we could no longer Protect them. At that Time ALL the "Bleeding Hearts" would "SCREAM" at the Increased Price & Un-Availability of commonplace Items of everyday Life. I'm Affraid however, what is going to happen will result in Obummer withdrawing our Troops only to see him "Farm Them Out" to a "One World Fighting Force" (U.N. style) under International Control!!! Now, bear in mind what a "Wonderful" job the "U.N. Security & Peace Keeping Forces" have done around the World!!! LOL LOL Be Affraid, be Verry Affraid & be Prepared however U feel necessary to protect Urself & Family!!! Hope that helps? At this point I usually say: "Enjoy!!!" But the answer doesn't warrant much to rejoice in, sorry.   John

Your direction,not your intention,determines your destination

I'm afraid this is one of his pipe dreams.Without our troops this country and others would be doomed.We have to have troops to protect us ,and ours or eventually everyone will be trying to take us over in a heart beat. Without military law and order no country would be safe.I had 6 uncles that were in World WarII and I never heard a word about regreting it and the part they all played. The Bible says"there will be wars and rumors of wars", if this is true and it is as we can see what is going on around us, we certainly need troops that are ready. Maybe Obama is going to figure a way where he will be able to stop wars and rifts and have his own personal troops. I'm afraid if things continue on the track it's going, we will have riots and fghting here on a large scale. Hope I'm wrong.

Obama who ignorantly committed himself to pulling the troops out of Iraq and then becomes president and wants to cut military spending at a time the Middle East is overflowing with turmoil will not get my vote for being wise. This is a president who was voted in by the hip hop generation and ignorant manipulated Americans who bought into the Bush bashing from and bias media. Regardless of weapons not being found in Iraq the fact is evident that they are in the Middle East. The Middle East nuclear arsenal is on the rise and developing, this added to the madness of Iran and disarray of Pakistan and the growing military in China and Russia among others I can definitely say NO, America is not more safe. But I regress, because that question is meant to read “are we more safe from terrorist?”. After they just arrested 4 men who had plans to bomb some temple in NY who were recruited from an American prison and convert into Moslems and then grow to be terrorist coupled with Obamas desire to house enemy combatants in America regardless of what America wants, I can give another unquestionable NO, America is not more safe.

Obama is looking more and more like he is giving a concentrated effort to lose this war. He spends more money in history then all our presidents. Now we are in a time when the Middle East is overflowing with turmoil. Middle East nuclear arsenals rising and developing and this coupled with Iran and N. Korea out of control, Pakistan in disarray and the growing military in China, Russia, and N. Korea among others, and this President cuts military spending in America. Does that make any sense? And now he orders that the Miranda Rights be read to terrorist. Is this a war of a police action? And so you can get a good picture of what these terrorist rights are, please read.
Miranda Rights:
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to speak to an attorney, and to have an attorney present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be provided for you at government expense.
They have more rights given to them by America then they get from their own government.
And what kind of message does this send to our combat troops? This president is defeating all war efforts and destroying our country.

h/t to Conservatives4Palin for putting this together, with thanks to all who will continue to update on this thread with the contact info for all LOCAL Letterman advertisers across the country.  The smaller advertisers in the local market must also be held accountable for supporting a program that thinks raping 14-year-old girls is funny. 
Tell the following four companies you will no longer be patronizing them so long as they continue to advertise on Letterman:
Mars Candy (click for address and C-suite names)
The Olive Garden (click for address and full list of C-suite execs at Darden Restaurant group, owners of Olive Garden)
Kellogg’s (click for address and full list of C-suite execs)
Hellmann’s Mayonnaise

Reason:  remember when Michael Phelps was caught with his marijuana bong?  Kellogg’s cereal dropped him like a hot potato because its brand image is child-focused for most of its products.  Speedo won’t ever drop Phelps, no matter what he does, but we doubt he’ll ever have his face on a McDonald’s happy meal again either. 
No candy company will want to be associate with raping 14 year-olds. 
No restaurant chain like Olive Garden will want to be consistently Googled with statutory rape.
Kelloggs won’t want to be involved in another messy advertising relationship after Phelps.  
A concerted effort against family-friendly advertisers of Letterman will work, but it will require persistence. 
“M&Ms: the candy for people who think rape is super funn!”
“Eat at Olive Garden so you can laugh about rape while eating unlimited salad and breadsticks!”
“Kelloggs:  the breakfast cereal for misogynists and perverts who exploit minor children!”
Now, this should have brand managers racing for the phone if a focus and spirited effort is directed at hammering them each and every day until their ads stop appearing on Letterman’s show and website. 
In this economy, a loss of three big advertisers like that will indeed be noticed by CBS.
UPDATE #2:  Some advertisers, such as Best Western, are claiming they do not advertise on Late Night with David Letterman.  This is apocryphal:  Best Western buys banner ad space on CBS.com, and these ads appear on CBS.com when you click on the David Letterman page on that site.  Best Western, Aerosoles, Paramount’s new Star Trek movie, and other banner ads pop up on every page of David Letterman’s site.  This is paid advertising Best Western and these other companies CHOOSE to buy from CBS. 
If you are an advertiser upset people who despise rape and refuse to allow Letterman to get away with promoting the rape of minors in New York, then you need to get on the phone to your ad buy account execs and yank your web ads from CBS.com
No one believes you do not have the power to do this.  If Best Western has agents who can post here, then you have agents who can call your advertising firms and stop giving your money to CBS and David Letterman.
It was consistently reported that WILLOW Palin, 14 years old, was in New York, attending events with her mother.  Not 18 year old Bristol. 
There is NO EXCUSE for Letterman and his writers to “make the mistake” of attacking “the wrong” Palin daughter.
None.
Just as there is no excuse for Best Western or any other advertiser to justify their support for Letterman by claiming, “we only buy ads online, not on TV”.

New Party

Co-founded in 1992 by Daniel Cantor (a former staffer for Jesse Jackson's 1988 presidential campaign) and Joel Rogers (a sociology and law professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), the New Party was a Marxist political coalition whoseobjective was to endorse and elect leftist public officials -- most often Democrats.
